Began her studies at the University of Toronto in 1981.
Later went on to study at the First Nations University with a focus on a Bachelor of Indian Social Work. This was the only university program at the time with an indigenous approach to coursework.
Sinclair is a full professor at the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina. She has published on the “Sixties scoop,” with her work being cited by publications such as The Canadian Encyclopedia and has appeared on programs such as CBC’s “The National.”
Has over 5 academic publications on indigenous issues in Canada.
