The FNUniv Library School Collection includes printed books, mostly on First Nations-related topics by First Nations authors and illustrators, that are suitable for young children, early readers, and young adults. This collection supports our Indigenous Education students. Disclaimer: materials in this collection reflect a range of perspectives on First Nations topics, and may include outdated stereotypes of Indigenous peoples, therefore adult supervision is recommended. For assistance with evaluating the depiction of Indigenous peoples in children’s literature, we recommend consulting the American Indians in Children’s Literature (AICL) blog. NOTE: Materials are available for borrowing with a valid library card.
