About Us

About First Nations University of Canada

At First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv), we are committed to transformative education rooted in Indigenous Knowledge. With four campuses across Saskatchewan, we provide a learning environment that integrates Indigenous perspectives, culture, and history while preparing students for success.

As a federated college of the University of Regina, FNUniv offers undergraduate and graduate programs in business, humanities, social sciences, and sciences—many incorporating Indigenous worldviews, traditions, and languages.

Founded in 1976 as the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College (SIFC), FNUniv was renamed in 2003, reinforcing its commitment to Indigenous-led post-secondary education.
