From Kahkewistahaw First Nation, The son of Iris Taypotat and Morley Watson, grandson of Albert and Marjorie Taypotat and Ivan and Jeanette Watson. I was raised by Denton and Beatrice George of Ochapowace Nation. I have served as a soldier in the Canadian Forces and as CKCS principal.
Dedicated to the fight to honour and implement our Treaty and inherent rights, and believe our Nation’s future successes lie in its progression. Chief Taypotat was recently appointed as Chair of the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee, which he was a member since becoming a Board Member.
