You may not register for the same course twice in one year. For example:
If you register for a course in the Winter semester, you may not register for it again in either the Spring/Summer parts of term or the Fall semester. Similarly, you may not be registered for the same course in both the Spring/Summer and Fall semesters. In the event that such a situation does arise, you will be dropped from the list without notice.
Exception: You may register for the same class in the Spring/Summer session or Fall semester after the deletion of the wait lists for that period.
If you fail a course, you may not register for the same course within the same year. In subsequent semesters, you may register in the normal manner. For example:
If you fail a 100, 200, or 300-level Winter semester course, you may not register for that course again in either the Spring/Summer parts of term or the next Fall semester.
Exception: You may register for the same class in the Spring/Summer session or Fall semester after the deletion of the wait lists for that period.
You may not register for two lecture sections of the same course in the same semester.
