The First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) is a unique institution of higher learning, specializing in Indigenous education for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. FNUniv is a recognized post-secondary hub of global Indigenous knowledge, attracting students and scholars of many different Indigenous backgrounds from across Canada and worldwide. The Indigenous Continuing Education Centre provides Indigenous-focused, accessible, flexible course offerings for Indigenous and non-Indigenous learners, as individuals, for organizations in the private and public sectors and communities.
Learners who complete the various components of The Indigenous Continuing Education Centre course offerings will be eligible to earn recognition in Professional MicroBadges, MicroCredentials, and MicroCertificates. Professional MicroCredentials are recognized by Industry and are intended to enhance learners’ employability by upskilling and increasing competencies. The Professional MicroCredentials awarded by FNUniv are verifiable and can be shared electronically through MyCreds™.
