Criteria
Candidates must:.
- be Status Indian, Non-Status Indian, Inuit or Metis registered at FNUniv
- have resided in Saskatchewan for a minimum of 24 consecutive months preceding the date of application.
- have achieved a minimum academic average of 65% in the preceding year of study, subject to minimum passing requirement (65% is the minimum amount, with the goal that the higher the scholarship award the higher the average).
- have enrolled as a full-time student in the current year.
- demonstrate financial need (if the applicant is band-funded, the maximum scholarship award is $1,000).
- have submitted a completed Student Consent and Testimonial Form as set out in Exhibit 1.
Candidates may not hold a SaskEnergy Scholarship in conjunction with other scholarships or bursaries exceeding an aggregate total of $7,500, including SaskEnergy Scholarships the student may have received through or from other institutions.
